Soy Scented Candles – Make Them Sweet And Unique

Soy Scented Candles are becoming more and more popular as people realize the benefits that they bring. They are environmentally friendly, coming from a renewable source (the soybean plant) rather than its rival, the paraffin candle which comes as a by-product from refining petroleum.

They burn a much cleaner fire, emit less soot, last longer, and are easier to clean than paraffin. In combination with a lead-free wick, the perfect candle is made. With all the benefits of soy wax, it has become a great material for candle making. You can easily get the best soy candles at www.nrglife.com.au/.

With a little thought and experimentation, you can make your own unique scented soy candles with beautiful scents to fill your home or make as a lovely gift.

The basic steps of making soy candles are simple. First, melt about a pound of soy wax (flakes are easier to process) in a water bath. When it's completely melted, remove from heat and add about an ounce of the aromatic oil of your choice (we'll get to that in a moment), and mix well.

Then add the coloring and mix well again. Immediately pour the melted wax into the mold you prepared, with the wick in the center (wicks with metal discs attached are often the easiest option), and center the wicks with a pencil.

Once the wax has hardened and hardened, remove it from the pan (if necessary), cut off the wick, and enjoy! Remember to never leave the candle unattended while it is on the fire during the entire process.
